Hillside Wilderness Preservation Campaign and Petition was established
in 2004 to provide a non government communtiy voice and direction
for preserving the Monrovia Foothills. The Petition offers a simple
and respectible 5-point request of the City of Monrovia to preserve
the Monrovia Foothills in a fashion which honors and respects the
desire of the Citizens by not disturbing or endangering families,
streets, neighborhoods, homes or wildlife of the Monrovia Foothills.

In
just a few months in 2004, the Hillside Wilderness Preservation Campaign
gathered over 2,500 signed Petitions to Save the Foothills.

The
Hillside Wilderness Preservation Campaign needs our neighbors support.
Time is important. As we approach the end of 2005, the City of Monrovia
is drawing closer to putting together a plan for the foothills.
The City of Monrovia needs your input. We need Neighborhood Captains
to educate their neighbors and gather support of the Hillside Wilderness
Preservation Campaign.
